The Congress held there 3rd annual St Georges Day beer festival from the 17th to 20th April 2008.
A good and varied range of beers, mainly from Devon and Cornwall were on sale.
Extra bars were set up in the lounge and the cellar drop.
PPPG called at the Congress on their 10th anniversary pub crawl, held on Sunday 11th March 2007.
We were transported on a 1950's double decker bus (see picture), now maintained and operated by the Potteries Omnibus Preservation Society (POPS).
